Eagles Minor take Game 1 of Exhibition Series 3-1

The Wolverines played a hard fought game but came up short in the end. The Eagles scored 3 goals after a scoreless 1st. Charleston's goal was scored by Pontieri in the 3rd.

Nick Pontieri's goal for Charleston came at 6:26 in the 3rd period.  The goal was unassisted and came when Nick stole the puck and took the break away to score past Eagles' goalie Ryne Shellman. It was the only goal that Charleston could put on the score board in the game; however, the Wolverines played good defense and attacked the Eagles' net throughout the game.  Charleston had 36 shots on goal in the game.  Brian Ruddy was in goal for the Wolverines.  He faced 45 shots and made 42 saves.
